Therapist. Student. Coder.

About Me

Hi, my name is Bia, and thank you for stopping by! I am currently a registered behavior therapist who works with kids with autism while specializing in early intervention. Outside of work, I am a worldly student going knowledge anywhere it finds me. I believe life is a journey and I look forward to experiencing all life with stride. I’ve worked as a server throughout college while balancing a leadership role at Clayton State University as a Lead Student Mentor for the Biology department. I’ve also dabbled in administration and barista work. Currently, I am a novice to the world of coding and you have stumbled across my first work of art showcasing my works of art. In the words of the Erykah Badu, “I’m an artist, and I’m sensitive about my s***.” My other passions include being passionately in love with life, natural hair, cooking and my fur babies.

Growing up, my family had a shared hardwired desktop that I became admittedly addicted to. Computers became my source of entertainment and discovery as Youtube developed and most tasks transitioned to web friendly. In college, I was introduced to coding through a program called R-Script that helped to analyze statistical data. The language and outputs fascinated me; multiple of data all explained with a few lines of code. I continued to use code programming for running statistical tests in my current job of behavioral analysis. I joined Refcode to explore the coding in depth and develop skills that could help me transition into coding full-time or developing a better program for behavior analysts.

Welcome to a glimpse inside of my world, my interests and my friend’s works of art as well. Thank you for stopping by and feel free to contact me via the contact page below or directly through my personal links at the bottom of the page.
